It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Joan Schulte (Carroll, Iowa), who passed away on May 20, 2020, at the age of 94, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Lucille Poeppe (Leiting) and Theodore Poeppe; her husband Urban Schulte; her brother Claire Poeppe; her granddaughter Summer Schulte; and her brother Loren Poeppe.
She is survived by: her children, Marylou Ahrens (Donald) of Osage, IA, Larry Schulte (Patti) of Carmel, IN, Ted Schulte (Rose) of Bradenton, FL, Richard Schulte (Dick) of Marina, CA, Mark Schulte (Betty) of Weidman, MI, Denis Schulte (Michelle) of Badger, IA and Colette Schulte; her siblings, Lois Wenzel of Carroll, IA, Donna Wernimont, Colette Monteros (Monty), Ray Poeppe, Lee Poeppe (JoAnn), Romayne Poeppe, Anita and Lynn Poeppe (Mei) of Altantic, IA.; and her sister-in-law Maryls Schulte of Des Moines, IA. She is also survived by 19 grandchildren and 30 great grandchildren.
