She was predeceased by: her parents, Leslie Lyman and Irene Lyman (Hoffard); her daughter Jan; her children-in-law, Steve Shudak, Ken Belt and Jo Wettengel; and her grandchildren, Anne Belt and Eric Wettengel.
She is survived by: her family Pat; her children, Seattle of Vail, CO, British Columbia, Medjugorje, Bosnia-Herzegovina, Mary Hughes (Neil), Paul Wettengel (Robin), Joy Belt, Jean Morz (Karl), Maureen Kruse (Darwin), Tom Wettengel (Vicky), Nancy Mulvania (Terry), Dick Wettengel (Mary), Rita Oppenheimer (Todd), Bob Wettengel (Kim), Karen Wahl, Colleen Recher (Guy), Judy Schutz (Mike), Jenny Rounds, Joanne Grote (Rick) and Bill Wettengel (Sheila); her sisters, Mary Hall and Teri Young; and her sisters-in-law, Geri Wettengel, Nelda Lyman and Mary Ellen Lyman. She is also survived by 40 grandchildren, 54 great-grandchildren; 5 great-great grandchildren.
Visitation was held on Sunday, November 2nd 2025 from 4:00 PM to 7:00 PM at the Corpus Christi Church (3304 4th Ave, Council Bluffs, IA 51501). A funeral Mass will be held on Monday, November 3rd 2025 at 11:00 AM at the same location.
Memorial donations may be made to Corpus Christi Parish, Saint Albert Schools for tuition assistance, or Josie Harper Hospice House in Omaha.
