Avila; his daughters, Rachael of Minneapolis, Tiffanie of Ames and Sarah of Cedar Falls; and his siblings, Daniel (Cedar Falls), Doug (Theresa) of Bellevue, Neb., Dennis of Waterloo, Donald (Joan) of Mason City, Dean (Jacqueline) of Pflugerville, Texas, Kathryn Leuthold (Peter) of Bloomington, Minn, Mary Kwiatkowski (Mark) of Milwaukee, Wisc and Patricia Siems of Waterloo. He is also survived by several nephews, nieces, and cousins.
