She was predeceased by: her parents, Fred Rosenow and Anna Rosenow (Lamprecht); her husband Vaylard F. Maurer; her son Burton Maurer; and her siblings, Lowell, Vaylard, Rueben Rosenow and Evelyn Kafer.
She is survived by: her sons, Dennis Maurer of Waterloo and Richard Maurer (Cheryl) of Story City; and her sister Carol Wagner of Sumner. She is also survived by eight grandchildren; eight great-grandchildren.
