It is with great sadness that we announce the death of James Bader of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Waterloo, Iowa, who passed away on October 22, 2021, at the age of 79, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Glen Bader and Marjorie Bader (Erickson); his wife Mary Sue Diehm of Cedar Falls; his children, Sheryl Dozier of Concord, NC, Brad Bader (Heidi) of Cedar Rapids, Chris Bunz (Brian) of Reinbeck and Mindy Smith (Vince) of Glidden; his grandchildren, Emma, Julia Dozier, Josh, Carson Bader, Mitchell Bunz, Corey Smith (Amber), Cassidy Daniel (Alec) and Caden Smith; his great grandchildren, Beau, Bentley Smith and Daniel; his sister Jo Anne Bader of Cedar Rapids; his pet Margie; and his children, Suanne Bader and Matt Diehm.
