She was predeceased by: her parents, Peter Krarup and Marie Krarup (Jensen); her husband Richard Hanson; her daughter Dawn Hanson; and her siblings, Harold Krarup, May, Rose Krarup, Helga Pickett and Alma Warns.
She is survived by: her children, Scott Hanson (Tawn) of New Hope, Minnesota and Kim Hanson of Waterloo; and her grandchildren, Ryan and Abigail.
