It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Richard C. Melick of Cedar Falls, Iowa, born in Independence, Iowa, who passed away on May 20, 2021, at the age of 89, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was loved and cherished by many people including: his parents, Jesse Melick and Ella Melick (Swanson); his wife Anne Carmichael; his daughters, Cindy Johnson of Cedar Falls, Debra Eckerman (Lloyd) of Washburn, IA and Patty Hemann of Pleasant Hill, IA; and his brothers, Ronald Melick of Independence, IA, Keith Melick (Ruth Ann) of Independence, IA and Kent Melick (Jean) of Cedar Falls. He was also cherished by five grandchildren; eight great grandchildren.

Memorials may be directed to the church, Christian Crusaders or the ISSA Scholarship Fund.
