She was loved and cherished by many people including: her parents, Lee Bass and Lola Bass (Cortright); her husband Raymond McMullen; her children, Michael McMullen (Colette) of Arthur, IL and Jodie Bonwell (Doug) of Cedar Falls; her grandchildren, Heather Miller (Nelson) of Arthur, IL, Dawn Boddy (Tyler) of Lovington, IL, Stacy Purnell (Clark) of Moline, IL, Courtney Craig (Stuart) of Cedar Falls, Clayton Bonwell (Shannon) of Milwaukee, WI and Benjamin Bonwell of Madison, WI; and her sister Kay Masters of Cedar Falls. She was also cherished by eight great grandchildren.
