He was predeceased by: his mother-in-law Mary Pollock; and his brother-in-law Mike Pollock. He is survived by: his parents, Dale Gardner and Janet Gardner (Hadenfeldt) of Marion; his friend Bill W.; his wife Shelly Gardner of Cedar Rapids; his children, Starr Oseguera (Luis) of Dallas and Brent Gardner (Ivy Preciado) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Anthony, Jaxon, Prince, Chevi, Ryder and Thomas; his brother Steve Gardner of Marion; his father-in-law Jim Pollock of Cedar Rapids; his siblings-in-law, Marc Pollock (Nikki) of Amana, Iowa and Michele Pollock of Cedar Rapids; and his niece Hailey Pollock of Amana.

All guests are respectfully requested to wear a face mask and practice social distancing.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Marion Industrial Club or a charity of the donor's choice.
