It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Alma A. McNamara of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Marion, Iowa, who passed away on April 26, 2021, at the age of 90, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Paul C. Hamer and Nellie Hamer (Kadera); her husband Eugene R. McNamara; her son Thomas McNamara; her siblings, Doris Moyer, Nelda Hamer, Lenard and Ivan Hamer; and her grandchildren, Alison and Joseph.
She is survived by: her daughters, Julie Mann (Gary) of Lebanon, Janelle Smith (Jeff) of Cedar Rapids and Susan Krejci (Tom) of Cedar Rapids; her daughter-in-law Carol McNamara of Marion; her grandchildren, Erin, Craig, Sara, Jessica, Matt, Mike, Audrey and Sally; her great grandchildren, Ian, Olivia, Devon, Gracie, Julia, Colton, Madison, Seamus, John Paul, Hannah, Austin, Trent, Dillon, Norah, Chloe, Ella, Karrington, Jay, Anna, Caila, Larry and Wyatt; and her great great grandchildren, Grayson, Hadley, Saylor, Cooper and Avery. She is also survived by her nieces and nephews.
The family asks that everyone attending please wear a mask and practice social distancing.
