He was predeceased by: his siblings, Jimmy, George, Jessie, Joe, Dorothy, Thelma and Annie.
He is survived by: his wife Cora; his sons, Ben Dixon (Debra) and Robert Jenkins; his siblings, Harrison, Emma and Hazel; his friend Rick Gail; and his parents, Charlie Cooks and Mary Ford Cooks. He is also survived by 4 grandchildren, 16 great grandchildren, 4 great great grandchildren.
