He was predeceased by: his parents, John Carter and Virginia "Nancy" Carter (Smith); his siblings, Mary (Walderach), John, Donald and Patricia (Baker); and his nephew Steven.
He is survived by: his wife LaVonne (Waterbury); his sons, Barry (Sue), Mark (Terri), Timothy (Dawn) and Anthony (Ann); and also, Jacqueline, Joshua, Rebecca, Samantha, Lindsey, Spencer and Gabrielle.
