He was predeceased by: his wife Barbara Ann; his son James Paul; his grandsons, Timothy Walter Fennern and James Robert Mitchell Svoboda; his parents, Joseph William and Elsie Barbara Svoboda; and his siblings, Edward, Antone and Angeline Svoboda.
He is survived by: his daughter Victoria Fennern (James Fennern); his sister JoAnn Patricia (Rudy Gorbatjuk); his children, Robert (Janelle), John (Cheryl) and Treasa (Kevin Green); his grandchildren, Anne, Erica, Michael, Bradley, Matthew, Aaron, Alayne and Rachael; and his great grandchildren, Ericka Fennern, Danielle Nicholson, Elijah, Noah and Onalee Collins.
