It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Barbara W. Black of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Ottumwa, Iowa, who passed away on February 25, 2022, at the age of 91, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.

She was predeceased by: her parents, Barry Feldmann and Edith Feldmann (Beall); her husband Maurice R. Black; her siblings, Dorothy Feldmann, Francis Pyle, George, Lawrence and Donald Feldmann; and her close friend Shih.

She is survived by: her sons, Michael Black (Linda) of Cedar Rapids and Richard Black (Deb) of Cedar Rapids; her grandsons, Jesse Black (Jenna Gardner) of Cedar Rapids, Bruce Black of Rock Island, Eric Black (Jenni Smith) of Cedar Rapids and Andy Black (Gina Strand) of Lenoir City, Tennessee; and her close friend Rosie Moyer of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by nine great-grandchildren; several nieces, nephews, and extended family.

Memorials may be directed to Salem United Methodist Church.
