It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Bertha Ethel Trimble (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Sheridan, Missouri, who passed away on June 3, 2018, at the age of 97, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Ernest Russell and Ethel Russell; her husband Clair Trimble; and her siblings, Eugene Russell and Ruth Range.
She is survived by: her daughters, Marilyn Sheffer of Olathe, Eileen Fluharty (George) of Cedar Rapids and Schmickle of Phoenix; and her grandchildren, Shari Fritch (Wayne) of Cedar Rapids, Kim Butler (Todd) of Cedar Rapids, Tina Goetzinger (Doug) of Cedar Rapids, Angelisa Dayan of Santa Fe, Greg Sheffer (Donna) of Olathe, Brenda Shoup (Glen) of Mission, Jason Bowman of Saigon, Vietnam Niehus and Stephanie Niehus of Phoenix.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Oakland Church of the Nazarene for missions.
