Bertha Long Obituary
With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bertha Long of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on November 21, 2021 at the age of 94. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Carroll Hanshaw and Vera Hanshaw (Orris); her husband Robert C. Long; her son Michael C. Long; and her siblings, Carroll Hanshaw, Violet Morlan and Yvonne LaKose.
She is survived by: her children, Christine Grannis (Ron) of Graniteville, SC, John C. Long (Linda) of Colorado Springs, CO, Jeanette Casteel (Les) of Hartville, MO and Steven C. Long (Kathy) of Cedar Rapids, IA; and her sister Delores Brown.
The family requires everyone in attendance to wear a mask.
In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made in her name to the First Presbyterian Church in Marion, IA.
