She was predeceased by: her husband William B. Pohorsky; and her parents, Joseph Nejdl and Barbara Modracek Nejdl. She is survived by: her children, Jane, Jean Wiggins (Peter), John (Jennie), Joan Doner (Karl) and Jim (Teri); her grandchildren, Kristin (Isaac), Emma, Leigh (Kurt), Nicholas (Alexis), Charlie and Matt; and her great grandchildren, Thea and Charlotte.

Memorials may be directed to the National Czech & Slovak Museum & Library in Cedar Rapids.
