He was predeceased by: his siblings, Gene Boots, Lois Busser (Hank) and Betty Sander (Leroy); and his brother-in-law Bill Hall. He is survived by: his wife Janet; his children, Dawn, Guy, Lisa and Bob; his sister Doris Hall; and his sister-in-law Janola Boots. He is also survived by many grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
