With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Bob Meyer of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Clarence, Iowa, who passed away on July 3, 2021 at the age of 80. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Sonny Meyer and Theo Meyer (Ruggles); his wife Karen Meyer; and his son Mike Meyer. He is survived by: his children, Diane Meyer of Cedar Rapids and Doug Meyer of Portland, Oregon; his sister Mary Ann Sachs of St. George, Utah; his grandchildren, Andrea Meyer of Marion, Abby Burger Cladek (Mike Cladek) of Denver, Amanda Burger of Scottsdale, Lauren Meyer and Bobby Meyer of Dallas, Texas; his great grandchildren, Keira, Addison Milam, Jack, Alice Hunt and Lucca Olivo; and his brothers-in-law, Jim Sawyer (Laura) of Clarence and Rick Sawyer (Deb) of Clarence.
In lieu of flowers and gifts, a memorial fund has been established to be used to support Bob's favorite organizations.
