It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Brenda Leonard Lukasko of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Long Beach, California, who passed away on June 14, 2021, at the age of 68, leaving to mourn family and friends. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Elizabeth Bates (Barnett) and LJ Leonard; her stepparents, Jack Bates and Eris Leonard; and her brother Terry Leonard.
She is survived by: her sons, Shawn Leonard (Naomi) of Cedar Rapids and Brice Lukasko of Dallas, Texas; her grandsons, Braxton Leonard of Chicago and Anthony Leonard of Cedar Rapids; and her sisters, Nancy Purk (Mike) of Toledo and Sharon Leonard of Cedar Rapids. She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and extended family.
Visitation: 9 – 11 a. m. Monday, June 21, 2021, at St. Mark's United Methodist Church, Cedar Rapids with service to follow at 11 a. m. Non-vaccinated guests are requested to wear masks.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be directed to Leaders Believers Achievers.
