He was predeceased by: his parents, Rev. William and Pearl Tjaden (Gisselbracht). He is survived by: his sons, Todd (Rio) of Cedar Rapids and Scott (Maria) of Cedar Rapids; his brothers, William (Nancy) of Jewell and Dave (Carol) of Waterloo; his stepsons, Jenuz Rojas of Florida and Jairuz Rojas of Texas; and his grandchildren, Amber Simmons, Jasmine and Michaela Tjaden. He is also survived by several great grandchildren.
