It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Carolyn Vial (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Pomeroy, Iowa, who passed away on September 19, 2018, at the age of 78, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her husband Harold Vial; and her siblings, Kenneth A. George, Duane R. George, Richard E. George and Yvonne D. Holmes.
She is survived by: her sons, Kevin Vial (Ruth) of Cedar Rapids and Brian (Kyong Kim) of Alabama; her grandson Jake Vial of Cedar Rapids; her siblings, Kathleen "Katie" Birkey (Don) of Manson, Marilyn Dayton (Ken) of Pocahontas and Gordon George of Maxwell; her parents, Arthur George and Myrtle George (Cassen); and also, Maddie and Callie.
