He was predeceased by: his son Gary; his grandson Eric; and his parents, Victor Nerison and Eunice Robinson Nerison. He is survived by: his son Tracy of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Geoffrey Nerison (Rachel) of Des Moines, Jessica Henchal (Austin) of Montezuma and Bree Hofmaster (Jon) of Swansea, SC; his daughter-in-law Sharon Nerison of Des Moines; his sisters, Dianna Boehme (Glen) of Dubuque, Regina Ancelet (Chuck) of Norway, Vicki Wullner (Ron) of Cedar Rapids and Jovita Nerison Green of Cedar Rapids; his great grandchildren, Evianna Nerison, Ellie and Elijah Henchal; and his wife Roberta "Bobbie" Christianson.

All in attendance are required to wear a mask and respect social distancing guidelines.

Instead of flowers, memorials may be directed to the family.
