She was predeceased by: her parents, Kenneth Stolpe and Phyllis Welander; her stepfather Floyd Welander; and her brother-in-law Richard Smith (Carl Anderson). She is survived by: her children, Clark Anderson, Derrick Anderson (Kimberly), Jennifer Dorton (Bret) and Kathryn Hoogestraat (Jim); her siblings, James Stolpe (Trudy) and Jacqueline Smith; her grandchildren, Michael, Nathanial, Kaitlyn, Austin, Hannah, Chaela, Noah and Jade; and her great grandchildren, Taryn, Paige and Harper. She is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Visitation will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 from 11:00 AM to 1:00 PM at the Lensing Funeral & Cremation Service- Iowa City (605 Kirkwood Ave, Iowa City, IA 52244-0167). A funeral service will be held on Tuesday, June 24th 2025 at 1:00 PM at the same location.
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to her family to be distributed to organizations that were important to Chris.
