He is survived by: his wife Hai Nguyen of Cedar Rapids; his children, Dien Nguyen (Ngan) of Cedar Rapids, Vuong Nguyen (Thuy) of Cedar Rapids, Yen Nguyen (John) of Brooklyn, Cuong Nguyen (Molly) of Garland, Suong Nguyen (Viet) of Fairfax, Loan Nguyen (Hung) of Cedar Rapids, Chi Nguyen (Lan) of Maplewood and Van Nguyen (Thu) of Bolingbrook, Illinois; his grandchildren, Amanda, Adam, Amber, Annabella, Alex, Colleen, Trung, Dustin, Elaine, Elizabeth, Isla, Ivy, Phoi, Tiffany, Truy, Tyler and Valerie; his great grandchildren, Mia, Peyton, Zoey, Thanh and Henry; and his sisters, Dung Nguyen of Centreville and Ba Nguyen of Vietnam.
