He was predeceased by: his son Clair Caldwell Jr; and his granddaughter Angel Marie Blackwell. He is survived by: his wife Dorothy; his children, Reana Heck (Ted) of Robins, Carrel Neilson of Kentucky, Bobby Caldwell of Cedar Rapids, Rebecca Caldwell of Cedar Rapids, Patricia Blackwell (Robby) of Cedar Rapids and Chris Caldwell (Christy) of Cedar Rapids; and his parents, Earl Caldwell and Irene Caldwell (Westfall). He is also survived by 18 grandchildren, 30 great grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren.
