He is survived by: his former wives, Mary Lewis and Angie Richardson; his children, Scott Nye (Cindy) of Cedar Rapids, Pamela Nye of Cedar Rapids, Sean Nye of Cedar Rapids, Sara Griffin (John) of Cedar Rapids and Cory Nye of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Conner, Alex, Brayden, Amiyah, Kailyn, Kyson, Calvin, Wyatt and Kenrick; and his siblings, Mike Nye (Cora) of Panama City, FL, Tim Nye of Cedar Rapids, Greg Puckhaber (Becky) of Newton and Cathy Breedlove of Iowa City.
