It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Darrel Peterson of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Fort Dodge, Iowa, who passed away on July 6, 2021, at the age of 73, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, William A. Peterson and Agnes J. Peterson (Swalin); his son Eric; and his brother Charles. He is survived by: his children, Janet Hoech (Karl) of Cedar Rapids, Joanne King (Todd) of Omaha, Nebraska and David Peterson (Lindsay) of Cedar Rapids; and his grandchildren, Annest, Andrew, Adalynn, William, Catherine and Oliver.
Due to allergies, the family requests no flowers. Darrel's wish is that any memorials be directed to the ISU Foundation for the Martin Hatteberg Memorial Scholarship Fund at Iowa State University College of Engineering. 10.1.1 Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
