He is survived by: his wife Marlene of Cedar Rapids; his children, Angela (Alex Tjaden), Abigail of West Amana and Scott Hougland (Elise Miller); his grandchildren, Kaiya and Keira of San Antonio, TX.; and also, Donnie Martin (Pam) of Bloomfield, Charles Hougland (Diane) of Milo, Phyllis Roe of Des Moines, Virginia Mullinix (DeWayne) of Downing, MO, Doris Newton of Bloomfield, James Hougland (Charlotte) of Bloomfield, Sally Hougland of Indianola, Jerry Hougland (Marilyn) of Pleasant Hill, IL, Debbie Straight (John) of Logan, Carol Fuhrman (Rich) of Fort Calhoun, NE and Cheryl Michaels (Ted) of Magnolia. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
