He is survived by: his wife Tammy; his children, Kim Kaplan, Karie Erickson (Jeff), Kristi Kaplan, Karla Ohman (Mike), Holly Heiar and Carl Johnson; his brother Donald Kaplan (Cathy); and his sister-in-law Teresa Kaplan. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
