It is with great sadness that we announce the death of David Martin of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Des Moines, Iowa, who passed away on February 8, 2022, at the age of 66, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his father Dwight Martin; his parents-in-law, Joseph Severa and Elaine Severa; his siblings-in-law, Tim Severa and Mary Smalley; and his grandparents, Charles, Gladys, Luther and Elsie Johnson.
He is survived by: his mother Jane Martin (Johnson); his son Joseph (Jackie); his wife Stacy Martin (Severa); his daughter Samantha Paulson (Josh); his grandchildren, JD, Emma and Madison; his siblings, Susan Stevenson (Dennis), Chuck and Jon (Colleen); and his sisters-in-law, Nancy Zimmers (Mike), Sidney Lutz (Larry) and Sara Tack (Duane). He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
Memorials can be directed to the family to be distributed to American Cancer Society, ALS Association, and St. Wenceslaus Church.
