He was predeceased by: his parents, John Spence and Louise Spence; and his brother Daniel Spence. He is survived by: his wife Ghislaine "Jiss" of Cedar Rapids; his brother John Spence (Esther); and also, Aaron Spence, Shelly Jensen (Jeff), Brenda Van, Anne Nederhoff (Anthony), Naomi Hilleshiem (Gary), Esther Anderson (Nathan), Michael Ludvicek (Simona) and Jerry Ludvicek. He is also survived by one grandchildren, three great-grandchildren.
