He was predeceased by: his parents, Ivan Eugene Steele and Mary Jane Croover; and his grandson Leo Jasgur. He is survived by: his former wife Susan Steele; his wife Marizon Steele of Cedar Rapids; his children, Christopher Steele (Amanda) of Des Moines and Jennifer Jasgur (Darrin) of Mobile, AL; his brother Dan Steele of Tulsa, OK; his grandchildren, Finn Jasgur, Sarah Hughes and Asher Donovan; his stepson John Paulo DelaPaz; and his niece Sheridan Steele.
