He was predeceased by: his parents, Alvin Primasing and Mae Primasing. He is survived by: his children, Tiffany Woodward of Johnson Creek, Joseph Primasing (Stacey) of Cedar Rapids, Jaimee Warbasse (Matthew) of Cedar Rapids and Tara Primasing of Cedar Rapids; his grandchildren, Ali Oxford (Dustin), Samantha Woodward, Kaitlyn Woodward, Ash Primasing (Jackie), Rafe Primasing, Hailey Primasing, Chace Primasing, Devon, Elijah and Emmeline; his siblings, Linda Krabacher of Iowa City and William "Bill" Primasing of Dubuque, Iowa; and his godchildren, Matt Krabacher of Fond, Summer Sullivan of Atlanta, Georgia and Courtney Baine Cornish of Joplin, Missouri.. He is also survived by 17 foster children.
A celebration of Dennis' life will be held at Murdoch-Linwood Funeral Home & Cremation Service in Cedar Rapids on Tuesday, December 29, 2020, with an open visitation from 3-6 p. m. and service at 6 p. m. Friends and family will be asked to observe social distancing and wear masks.
