He was predeceased by: his parents, Herbert Grayson Wheeler and Dorothy Irene Doonan; and his siblings, Carl Wheeler (Marylou) of Gladbrook and Patricia Roggentien (Dick) of Belle Plaine. He is survived by: his wife Earline Wheeler (Herman); his children, Mark Wheeler (Jon) of Belle Plaine and Bonnie Sherwood (Randy) of Van Horne, Iowa.; his grandchildren, Michael Wheeler (Caysee) of Des Moines, Chelsea Medved (Chris) of Olathe, Matthew Herman (Kelsey) of Salina, Austin Sherwood of Keystone and Stephanie Sherwood of Van Horne; his great grandchildren, Cadence, Macey Wheeler of Cedar Rapids, Bryde Wheeler of Des Moines, Abbigail Wheeler of Ssninel, Lincoln, Adalyn, Jaxson Medved of Olathe, Wyatt Herman and Daisy Herman; and his sister Julia LaPete of Jacksonville, Florida.. He is also survived by many loving nieces and nephews.
