It is with deep sorrow that we announce the death of Donald Bennett of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, who passed away on February 3, 2021, at the age of 87, leaving to mourn family and friends. You can send your sympathy in the guestbook provided and share it with the family.
He was predeceased by: his parents, Charles Bennett and Hannah Bennett (Lange); his wife Kathy Bennett; and his siblings, Kenneth, Carl, Jeanette and Dorothy Bennett.
He is survived by: his former wife Kathryn Stone; his children, Dave Bennett (Teresa), Denise Witte (Mark) and Michael Bennett (LuJean); his stepdaughters, Ann Squires and Mary Hatfield; and his grandchildren, Travis, Ryan Bennett, Emily, Jake Witte, Melissa, Jessica Robinson, Gavin, Zach Squires and Lorraine Hatfield. He is also survived by several great-grandchildren.
As mandated by proclamation, social distancing must be practiced which requires a limited number of people to be allowed into the visitation at one time.
In lieu of flowers the family has asked to donate to the local Red Cross. 8.5.7 Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery Funeral Home.
