He was predeceased by: his parents, Cecil Bontrager and Mary Bontrager (Yoder); his brother Michael; his granddaughter Symone; and his father-in-law Adolph Zach.
He is survived by: his former wife Ruth Zach; his children, Keri VanSant (Anthony), Kala Bontrager, Kim Bontrager, Todd Bontrager (Kim) and Tyler Bontrager; his grandchildren, Jadasen, Ariana, Kiyah, Abel, Nick, Tony, Chad, Dalton, Bohemia, Lonesa, Dominique and Demetrius; and his parents-in-law, Jean Zach, Jim Zach (Charlotte), Larry Zach (Linda), Sue Snitker (Doug), John Zach (Jennifer) and Bill Zach (Diana). He is also survived by many nephews, nieces and dear friends.
