He was predeceased by: his parents, Harry Thomas and Margaret Thomas; his siblings, Harry Jr. (Buzz), Gerald, Alice, Patricia and Barbara; and his grandsons, Christian and Dylan.
He is survived by: his children, Donald Thomas Jr. (Donna) of Cedar Rapids and Latisha Moore of Waterloo; his grandchildren, Mekhi Moore and Samantha Thomas; his sister Shirley Thomas of Waterloo; his granddaughters, Kendra and Jenna; and his close friend Bev Taylor of Cedar Rapids. He is also survived by many nieces and nephews.
