He was predeceased by: his parents, Aaron Madsen and Nomie Madsen; and his sister Adelaide Madsen. He is survived by: his wife Jeanette Madsen of Cedar Rapids; his sons, Nels Madsen (Fran) of Auburn and Erik Madsen (Chris) of Cedar Rapids; his grandchild Lisa Madsen (Rob); his great grandchild Sydney of Austin; and also, Luke Madsen of Auburn, Kelsey Madsen of New York City and Haley Madsen of Minneapolis.
In lieu of flowers memorial donations can be made in Don's memory to the Eastern Iowa Chapter of the Alzheimer's Association.
