It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Donald Kness of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Guthrie Center, Iowa, who passed away on December 11, 2020, at the age of 82, leaving to mourn family and friends. He was predeceased by: his parents, Dewey Kness and Genevieve Kness (Kline); and his siblings, Mary, Richard, Leila, Ruby, Gladys, Robert, Raymond and Eldred.
He is survived by: his wife Linda Kness of Cedar Rapids, IA; his children, Michael Kness, Stephen Kness (Machelle) of Cedar Rapids, IA, Tracy Summers (Jerry) of Phoenix, AZ and Teresa Kness (Matt Kirk) of Cedar Rapids, IA; his grandchildren, Alexa, McKena, Barrett Kirk, Samantha Martin and Cody Koch; his great grandchildren, Kooper, Konner and Karter; and his brother Maurice Kness (Evelyn) of Texas.
