She was predeceased by: her husband Jim Meeks; and her brother Dan Higdon. She is survived by: her son Keven Hendrickson; her wife Jodi; her grandchildren, Brandon and Paige; her nieces, Lisa Strand of Ankeny and Cindy Miller of Osceola; her friend Jeri Hodson of Weslaco; and her sister-in-law Marlen Higdon of Urbandale.
