It is with great sadness that we announce the death of Doreen Dirks (Cedar Rapids, Iowa), born in Moline, Illinois, who passed away on February 24, 2018, at the age of 81, leaving to mourn family and friends. She was predeceased by: her parents, Alfred Ryan and Roena Ryan (Fuller); her husband Dwaine; and her sisters, Linda Miller and Pam Bell.
She is survived by: her spouse Leo Elsbury; her children, Terri Jerome (Tom) of Stanwood, Scott Dirks (Patty) of Monticello, Eddy Dirks (Jane) of Marion and Tammy Yirkovsky (Roger) of Marion; her grandchildren, Casey, Tiffany, Rebecca, Chelsea and Kylie; and her sisters, Kay Reed of Rock Island and Georgia Denham of California. She is also survived by seven great granddaughters; one great grandson.
