She was predeceased by: her siblings, Ralph, Leo, Donald and Mildred Blakley; and her husband Leonard Cooney.
She is survived by: her children, Pat Mayberry of Cedar Rapids, Don Cooney of Lexington, KY and Ann Nelson (Wes) of LeClaire. She is also survived by seven grandchildren and seven great grandchildren.
