He was predeceased by: his parents, William Metz and Shirley Metz (Schoettmer); and his great-niece Celia Allen. He is survived by: his sibling's children, Curt Wagaman (Julie Kaneyuki), Jill Allen (Mitch), Jory Metz (Megan), Ashley Hodder (Ethan), Tristan Metz (Liz Jensen), Emma Metz and Kourtney Larent (Avery).
