He was predeceased by: his parents, John Helle and Clara Helle (Herting); his wife Alma Helle; his brothers, LaVerne and Roger Helle; and his sister-in-law Vera Helle.
He is survived by: his children, Kathy Beer (Dan) of Center Point, Ronnie Helle of Cedar Rapids, David Helle (Tammy) of Fishers, Becky Mart (Doug) of Cedar Rapids, Bev Christensen (Brett) of Marion and Andy Helle (Denise) of Marion; his grandchildren, Amber Chipman (John), Ben Beer, Katie Greif (Brenton), Ryan Helle, Christopher Helle (Christine), Tim Link (Kerry), Jennifer Bauer (Russell) and Jason Rizzo (Karrisa); his great grandchildren, Mason, Luke, John, Nathan, Gianna, Addison, Lily and Sophie; and his sister-in-law Mary Helle.
