With heavy hearts, we announce the death of Eileen Dais of Cedar Rapids, Iowa, born in Herreid, South Dakota, who passed away on April 4, 2021 at the age of 87. Family and friends are welcome to leave their condolences on this memorial page and share them with the family.
She was predeceased by: her parents, Frank Schaefbauer and Susanne "Susie" Schaefbauer (Weisbeck); her husband Marvin Dais; and her siblings, Roberta F. "Bert" Schaefbauer Goehring, Doris M. Lacher and Duane M. Schaefbauer.
She is survived by: her children, Marlene Arenas (Jesse) of Albuquerque, NM, Sheryl O'Connell (Patrick) of Marion and Steven Dais (Kim) of San Diego, CA; her grandchildren, Shauna Graybill (Kevin), Rick Arenas (Angela), Candice Murphy (Ryan) and Brandon O'Connell (Aly); her great grandchildren, Ashleigh, Bailey, Eli, Addie, Izzy, Kaylin, Kellen and Keegan; and her siblings, Shirley Ann Schaefbauer (Teresita) of Aberdeen, SD and Frank Schaefbauer (Sara) of Pierre, SD..
