She was predeceased by: her parents, Jesse Curtis and Elza Curtis (Kalkoffen); her husband Roger Irwin Dice; her close friend Gene Phillips; her sister Catherine Simmons; and her sibling's children, Chris Simmons and Diana Simmons.

She is survived by: her children, Dan Dice (Lisa) of Cedar Rapids and Dale Dice (Tina) of Cedar Rapids; her grandchildren, Erik Dice (Kaitlin) of Palo and Emily Dice of Hiawatha; her stepgrandsons, Trent Ozburn (Shannon) of Cedar Rapids and Jared Ozburn of Cedar Rapids; her great grandchildren, Owen, Lincoln and Brinley Dice; and her nephew Ted Simmons (Tane) of Shellsburg, Iowa..
