He was predeceased by: his parents, Fred Kinney and Margaret Kinney; his wife Donna Lessard Kinney; his son Christopher Kinney; and his siblings, Mary Frances Davison, Helen Copley and Joe Kinney.
He is survived by: his children, Susan Westerdahl of Cedar Rapids, Daniel Kinney (Joan) of Fort Collins, Jane Kinney of Miami and Andrew Kinney (Zyann) of Edwardsville; his grandchildren, Zach Westerdahl (Iona), Tyler Westerdahl, Nolan Kinney, Eric Kinney, Kara Kinney and Rachel Kinney; and his great grandchildren, Arrow Westerdahl and Lulu Westerdahl.
