He was predeceased by: his parents, Richard Egan and Jeanette Egan (Flannagan); his children, Angela Egan and Robert Egan; and his siblings, Edith Keilholtz and Larry Newcomb.
He is survived by: his children, Charles Egan (Jolene) of Las Vegas, David Egan (Tasha) of Marion and Lisa Egan of Cedar Rapids; his stepsons, Jeffrey McMains of Blairstown and Scott McMains (Darcy) of Elberon, Iowa; his grandchildren, Ashley, Brad, Kara, Emma and Golyfe; his siblings, Tom Egan (Kathy) of Phoenix, Arizona, Janet Meyer of Alexander and Betty Ryan of Evansdale, Iowa; and his friends, Krystal Dearing and Maliyah Tawil. He is also survived by several nieces and nephews; and a host of extended family.
