He was predeceased by : his wife Alice Patten; and his parents, Fred Patten and Doris Patten. He is survived by : his niece Rae Diers (Max); and his great-nephews, Jesse Diers (Holly) and Jarod Diers (Stephanie).
A graveside service was held on Monday, January 18th 2021 at 12:00 PM at the Cedar Memorial Park Cemetery (4200 1st Ave NE, Cedar Rapids, IA 52402).
In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be directed to the family.
